Self Employed Educational Practitioners (UK wide travel required)

Delivering workshops in a variety of topics across the UK, from our  immersive history workshops to Anti Bullying sessions and much more in-between

Pay Rate: Day rate varies by workshop, however will be above minimum wage, plus drivers expenses. 

Experience and Requirements:

  • Previous acting experience is a must - preferably in an immersive, improv based environment. 

  • Previous educational workshop delivery experience is desired, training will be provided.

  • Must have a DBS or willingness to obtain one at practitioners own cost.

  • Full clean driving license preferred as you may be required to drive company vehicle.

  • A van will be provided but you must be able to get to and from our Bridgnorth offices.

  • Knowledge of historical eras also a bonus - although all information will be provided. 

  • Willingness to travel up to 3 hours with some stay overs on occasion. 

  • Willingness to adapt to ever changing situations.

  • A great attitude with a passion for making learning fun.

Self Employed Theatrical and Event Support:

  • Event Coordinators

  • Sound or Light Techs

  • Stagehands

  • Stage Management

Supporting our productions and events on an ad hoc basis. We hold ITC Ethical Manager Status.

Pay Rate: Day rate varies by event and job requirement, however will be in line with ITC/Equity guidelines. 

 Experience and Requirements: 

  • Prior experience working on a theatrical production or live event production.

  • Able to provide supporting references

  • Ability to supervise and manage a team.

  • Attention to detail is a must - always aware and able to solve a problem.

  • Previous acting experience is a bonus- some roles may require you to jump into character as part of your role.

  • Own vehicle preferred due to the location of some of our events. 

  • Willingness to adapt to ever changing situations.

  • Hands on approach to repairing set and props.

  • Able to support load in and out at events.

  • Ability to support the management team with risk assessing sites.

  • A great attitude with a passion for bringing events to life.
